Our Big Little Disaster

The holt look a like test above is inaccurate we believe, we tried a few different pictures and Jaxson always looked more like momma by like 10%, for some reason everyone thinks he looks like momma the most, so we decided to keep this one on the blog for kicks.

Our house is an utter disaster! We are moving our stuff saturday, and leaving next week for NYC! May we just tell you how excited we are?? I have never been, and we are living in these great places in Fort Lee NJ, a suburb of NYC. Check out the pictures! Especially Grandma's who worry about where their new grandbaby is going to be and how safe we are. http://www.villagegreen.com/communities/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewSlideshow&CommunityID=101&floorplanID=0&row=2
My brother John actually served his mission in New Jersey, and Fort Lee was in his mission. He said we should still be careful about walking alone, and watch where we walk. But it still is safer than other places in New Jersey and New York. We will keep you posted on how our little adventure is.

Milestones in Jaxson's life came two fold over the past couple weeks. One....SOLIDS! Two...sitting up by himself. We like solids better than we thought, because we started giving graham crackers every once in a while too, and those are by far a bigger mess than solids. Except of course when Jaxson decides to rub his eyes while he's eating, because for some reason, he always rubs his mouth first, then his eyes. Funny kid, had to wash his eyes out numerous times already because he only eats solids right before he goes to bed. Seriously, why are babies such cute eaters?? I always wondered why the gross things they do are cute, but if we adults do the same thing, it's just disgusting. Even crapping their pants is sometimes cute because of the grunts and serious faces they get! What is the deal?? So Nate concurs, we feel Jaxson kind of grew up over night, because these two things happened basically at the same time, and when he sits up, he just looks like he is so much older, especially since we recently went to the doctor and he was 18 lbs at 6 months! He's our chunky monkey we call him. We are such proud parents, I don't know many parents who aren't though!
